9. Anti-drafting rule
In a general way and apart from the other regulations, the penalties applied by the race marshals can last 8 minutes in the penalty box (a yellow card), or mean a disqualification (two yellow cards). The race marshals will be able to use the warning as dissuasive measure of attempts of infraction to the anti drafting and anti residues regulation when they consider it to be opportune and without this meaning a sanction.

Anti-drafting
Drafting or slipstreaming during the bike portion is not allowed, and it could be a reason for sanction. Drafting means to be less than 7 meters behind another competitor or less than 3 meters sideways. A triathlete can invade the drafting zone to overtake the triathlete who precedes him. They have 15 seconds to carry out this manoeuvre; if passed this time the overtaking has not been done, the triathlete has infringed the rule.

A triathlete can enter the drafting zone of another triathlete, subject to the decision of the judge and marshals, in the following circumstances:

• If they overtake within 15 seconds

• For safety reasons

• In an aid station

• At the entry or exit of the transition area

• In sharp turns

• Other safety reasons determined by the judges and marshals.

A triathlete that is being overtaken must immediately abandon the drafting zone of the other athlete once this one has overtaken him. In order to make easier the overtaking maneuvers, all the participants will always have to circulate along the right side of their path. To get in the way of other runners will be also a reason for sanction.

10. Anti-waste rule

You must deposit all the packages, bike bottles, cans, bottles, papers, fruit peels, wrappings or any other solid object in the containers or litter baskets located at each one of the aid stations.

Make sure you know where these points are located and tdo not throw anything to the floor. Collaborate and leave the courses just as they were before the race.

11. Anti-doping control

The organization will have the participants undergo an anti-doping control according to the in force regulation of the Antidoping commission of the Spanish Triathlon Federation.

12. Security and medical care
The restricted areas will be controlled by the organization security guards and it will only be possible to gain access to them by showing the participant´s bracelet or the corresponding accreditation.

The security in the public roads will be the responsibility of the Mossos d´Esquadra force and the local police forces.

The medical services of the organization destined throughout the route will be authorized to make any participant retire for medical reasons. Any emergency vehicle that needs to use the bike route to circulate will be able to do it indicating its position by luminous and audible signals.
