HISTORY
The region of El Maresme combines, harmonically, the din and richness of a tourist area which is known worldwide, full of activities throughout all year, and the calm that provides the mountain that seems to have been made especially for hikers. CALELLA
Known as the tourist capital of the Costa del Maresme, characterized for being a Cosmopolitan lively city with a typical Mediterranean climate. 50 km from Barcelona and Girona, its geographical location as well as its communication means become a key factor in performing all types of excursions and activities.

LOCATION
El Maresme is located in the Northeast of Catalonia, on a narrow strip of land, between Barcelona and Costa Brava. It is surrounded by Tordera river, El Montnegre and el Corredor Park, la Serralada Litoral and La Serralada de Marina Parks and Costa de Levante beaches.
